WIRELESS INTERNET

The condo is equipped with wireless internet access connected through the cable TV service. See instructions in the condo for accessing the wireless internet through your laptop computer.

 

SIERRA BEDROOM (aka "DIGITAL DEN")  COMPUTER SYSTEM

You are welcome to use the HP Pavilion computer or connect your laptop computer to the monitor, printer, or phone line.

 

USER ID & PASSWORD

When starting the PC, use the following User ID / Password:

User ID-   condo

Password - tahoe

 

VIDEO DISPLAY MONITOR

The monitor is connected to the installed HP computer, or you may connect the monitor to your laptop computer. To use the monitor with your computer, first disconnect the monitor cable at the cable junction on the desktop, then connect the monitor cable to your computer.

 

COMPUTER PHONE LINE

The condo phone line is split to provide connection for a laptop computer. The condo phone line is restricted to outgoing calls to a local number, calls to a 1-800 number, or calls charged to a calling card.

 

COLOR PRINTER

Software driver for the printer is available on the provided diskettes. If the printer cartridge requires replacement, please consult the printer User Guide for instructions.

AMERICA ONLINE (AOL)

America Online may be accessed in three ways:

1. On the condo computer, use Internet Explorer directed to http://www.aol.com

2. With your laptop computer connected to the condo wireless network (see separate instruction) use the AOL feature for connecting to a network.

3. With your laptop computer connected to a condo phone line (phone cord at condo computer is connected to the condo phone line) use one of these access numbers:
